I just noticed that Google doesn't have any special Google banner for today, the day that Barack Obama was inaugurated as the 44th President of the United States. Yet yesterday they had a special banner for Martin Luther King Jr.
Hmm.
Bill's dad passed away on December 28, 2008. I haven't completed my true entry for this yet, but I felt too much time has passed and I haven't noted this sad news here. Until I complete the entry, this will have to do.
I wish I would have had more time with him. I wish Billy would have had more time with his Papa. I would love to hear him laugh one more time.
Rest in peace, Bill. I love you and thank you for all that you have done for us. We'll miss having you physically here, but you will always be in our hearts and memories. I know you're golfing, playing with Sandra Dee, and having a grand pain-free time where you are now.
