Still Alive
Three cheers for a short work week!!
I am looking forward to Thanksgiving this year, which is odd because I usually don't enjoy it too much, what with all the back-breaking work of cooking and cleaning involved. But, this year I plan to savor it. Pun intended.
We've been pretty busy, aside from Mafia Wars. Seems our evenings are filled with things that we've fallen behind on our TV watching, which is not a bad thing. We did watch the last three episodes of Survivor last night, and this past week's episode was likely the funniest EVER. Guffaw-invoking, side-splitting funny. Gotta love the Yauman-inspired activities.
I guess I never updated about the dog either. After a rather expensive trip to the vet, she told me that the egg-sized lump on Sumi's back is a lipoma, fatty-deposit. Nothing to be concerned about unless it starts affecting her. Okay. And then I paid $3.17 a PILL (14) for Simplicef, which I don't remember what it was for, perhaps an anti-biotic for her infected paws. And another $0.55/pill x 30 for Temaril-P. I'm sure the dog hates going to the vet, but she'll be glad to know that she's not the only one.
Both Bill and I are sick, and it sucks. We both started with a sore throat on the same day, but our colds have taken different paths. He's more sneezy and coughing, and I'm pretty solid with the wheezy coughing. I'm bound to lose my voice in a day or two, if I can manage to talk without having a coughing fit...
Mopped the floor again yesterday. I hate cleaning the floor but the end result is awesome. I love the feel of the floor after it's cleaned. And then, sure enough, without too much time passing by, the dog deposits hair all over it. It's a never-ending battle.
