So, about that Pig
So, the cause of controversy can be seen in this clip of Senator Obama.
The Ad:
And, CBS didn't like that Anti-Obama ad, it made YouTube pull the video. So, the above probably won't be available if they pull the "response" too.
My opinion? He wasn't talking about Palin, he was talking about McCain's "change". And, apparently that phrase, lipstick on a pig, is a common political phrase. But, you KNOW he knew that a majority of people would take it that he was referencing Palin, so let's just say it was a poor choice of words. Bill asked me what would happen if McCain said in a speech after referencing Obama, "Let's just call a spade a spade." You could be darn sure the same flurry of media frenzy would happen.
So, how about the candidates start focusing on telling us what they will do for us instead of what the other candidates will do (or, not do) for us?? Either that, or Biden needs to do some river-dancing so that we get more interested in him. Maybe he should have an affair with Britney Spears?
And, hello Obama... Palin is not your direct opponent. I can just see McCain sitting back, watching all this, and laughing.
Signing off for the night,
Ms. Independent
