Vacation!
Went to San Diego and Disneyland for vacation. Here's a few pictures...
Legoland was great fun for the little ones. It's not as crowded as Disneyland, but has lots of rides that are appropriate for little kids. Here's one of the cutest rides in the park.
One of the coolest things about Legoland is the great Lego sculptures that are all over the park. Some of them are pretty impressive. This is one of my favorite areas.
This dragon is at least 15 feet tall, maybe more!
Just outside of Legoland is a strawberry farm. You can pay for a little bucket and go out into the field to pick your own strawberries. It was fun and they were yummy!
We went to Balboa Park and visited a bunch of museums. Little One's favorite... the Model Railway Museum (of course)!
We also visited the Museum of Man, Fleet Science Center, the Museum of Natural History, the Museum of Art and a couple other places. Here's a mummy from the Museum of Man.
And of course, there was Disneyland. It was hot and crowded, but not too bad. I think it helped that we went early in the season before all the schools were out for the year. This year his favorite rides were Star Tours, Big Mountain Thunder Railway (duh), the Silly Symphony Swings and Toy Story Mania.
Didn't get to pose w/the Mouse, but got in a few other cool characters.
Here's our Disneyland rug rats.
Lots of promoting of the new Disney/Pixar Toy Story 3.
My mood: still recovering & unpacking & stressing unnecessarily about a variety of things.
