Money Woe is me
Took my car in for servicing last week. Found out that I need to get my brake pads replaced and something about the timer belt, cover and gasket which is going to cost me $1800 plus to replace and get fixed. To make things worse, they're going to keep my car for 2 days! Aaargh.
Then, I have to figure out what to do w/my child over the summer. I could have him stay home every day w/Grandpa, but then he'll turn into a major couch potato and probably get into all kinds of trouble. So what's a mom to do? I thought about summer school, but that seems so cruel and he doesn't really need it since I am constantly grilling him about reading and math. I decided to send him to a program, but that's going to cost me almost $1000! For 7 weeks of fun. I guess, I could compare it to babysitting or preschool, then it's a bargain.
Finally, we had planned a trip to California and the land of Disney & Legos. Bought my Disney tix today. Yikes!
My mood: exhausted
