Furlough Wednesday again
Enjoyed another furlough day. We're back to furlough Wednesdays again. We want to further confuse the public by being furlough/holiday Fridays for an entire month and then switching back to Wednesday for the next 3 weeks. Talk about confusion. I, on the other hand, am always in a state of confusion, so no real change for me there...
I enjoyed the day w/Musson who has become a woman of leisure again. She managed to get Wednesday off so that we can enjoy breakfast & retail therapy (CHILD-FREE!!!). I feel like a kid again! This time we just stayed on our side of the island. Ate breakfast at Denny's (I had the bacon avocado burrito) and then went to Ross & the mall. Managed to get home in time to pick up Little One from martial arts class. Paid for his next test --the white-green belt.
Can't wait for school furloughs to be over. Sis was telling me that in her state they have FREE & mandatory preschool for 4-yr olds. What a wonderful idea. I will be sad when furloughs are over for me. I've been working 4-day work weeks for so long now, I can't imagine how I'm going to survive working 40-hr weeks again.
My mood: not looking forward to work tomorrow
