Obama on Leno
So my hero was on Leno last nite. Guess it was a slow news day, cause the biggest fuss is all about the Special Olympics comment. "Did the President go too far?" PLEASE! People use the term "retarded" or "special olympics" all the time jokingly, without "really meaning" that people with "special needs" are beneath them, it's just dated and slightly in bad taste-- get a life and find some real news to report about. I know you can't use the term without some OVERLY sensitive/PC person going over the deep end, but he was having fun on Leno, people. Just cause he's the President, doesn't mean he has to only speak from a teleprompter.
Should the President call up AIG and apologize for all the comments he's been saying? Should he call George W. and apologize daily? "Hey Georgie, sorry about what I said during that last press conference. When I said the economy was going to hell, I was in no way saying that you sucked as a President. No hard feelings 'ey"
He said it, he was sorry when he realized he might have offended the overly offended. Let's move on, shall we? Why don't we talk about that $1.8 trillion dollar deficit...
