I actually saw a movie!
Okay, not at the theater, so it's not all that exciting. But I did manage to squeeze in 3 movies this weekend: Transformers (doesn't really count since I've seen it more than 5 times), Hancock, and Get Smart.
I can't really say anything about Hancock without giving away a major spoiler. But other than that obvious historical error. I was quite pleased with the film. It had that sixth sensish element of surprise (which was bugging me because of the reviews I had read about the movie regarding the key actors). And the ever-eternal "I-love-you-but-I-can-never-be-with-you" storyline which always gets me teary. Okay, that was probably TMI for anyone who was interested in seeing it and didn't yet. Or I just confused you big time.
I was really not expecting ANYTHING from Get Smart, but it was surprisingly funny. I laughed my butt off in certain parts. Definitely a good thing. Was not too keen on the storyline, but the actors were good. I liked the characters. And it was funny. Of course, take into consideration that I love Will Ferrell. Oh, and that scene in the airplane bathroom. OUCH!!!
I'm being ambitious and hoping to watch Spiderwick Chronicles, Mamma Mia, and rewatch Smallville from the beginning...
My mood: good
