A broken heart and an inspiration

My heart sank this afternoon when I learned of the passing of Barack's grandmother. She was so close to watching her grandson become the next President of the United States. What a proud moment it would be for her to see her grandson achieve such an honor as the respect of a powerful nation, a nation that has overcome such obstacles as the color of a man's skin. I'm sure she was already quite proud and that wherever she may be, she knows that whatever the outcome, he is the bringer of hope and an inspiration to a new generation of America.

I only wish every child had someone like that in their lives.

My mood: tearful, hopeful, full of cheese

Barack the vote

DON'T FORGET TO VOTE TOMORROW!!!!!
