Happy Meals/Celebrations
Everytime I end up at McDonalds with my child, I end up with some stupid toy that eventually gets ignored and can be easily discarded. There are those few toys that he does treasure and play with often and they are always the cars. So everytime there's a car promotion or something similar, I end up eating a lot of Happy Meals. C-Man was very into the Speed Racer cars and when that was over, I was thrilled.
C-Man ask me if my meal is a Sad Meal. I tell him yes, as it is truly sad that I eat McDonalds food more often now than before I had a child who could say "french fries."
This morning, I discover online that the new toys coming out today are Transformers Animated toys. I find my stomach turning at the thought of another cheeseburger... Why is it that they don't offer the fish sandwich in a Happy Meal? It would be a much happier meal for me.

Last nite we were at Mussonville celebrating the birthday of our nation. Musson's bought a 5000 pack of firecrackers. It was the COOLEST thing ever. They were PAPERLESS!!!!! I had never heard of such a thing. It was miraculous and WHY wasn't it invented 30+ years earlier? Do you know how many hours of my life were wasted raking up those stupid little red pieces of paper from the yard? He lit it up, we enjoyed the fireworks and when it was pau, all that was left was a little box from the middle which hold the big bang at the end. He kicked it onto the side of the street and it was done. All clean. Cool.
My mood: thrilled to still have 2 days off
